Some effects/games are very complex and difficult to create, and with only 30 days to monetize it is a very short time. Most of the time we are unable to reach 5000 valid videos before 30 days. It would be fairer to creators if the deadline returned to 90 days.
I would like to see them remove the day cap completely and lower to 1k, but anything is better than the current 30 day system as long as they stick to 5k, I’ve been a victim of effects just missing out due to the 5k in 30 days.
Perhaps they could come up with other concepts like:
90 days to get 5k but monetization lasts 30days from when the effect gets to 5k, regardless if you are on day 89.
