Dear EffectHouse Team,
I am writing to respectfully request a reconsideration of the current monetization criteria, particularly regarding the minimum number of valid videos and the duration of monetization eligibility.
Currently, the requirement of a minimum of 5,000 valid videos to access monetization presents a significant challenge for many content creators, especially those who are still growing their presence on the platform. Lowering this threshold would provide more creators with the opportunity to benefit from the monetization program, thereby encouraging higher quality and more consistent content production.
Additionally, I kindly suggest extending the monetization period beyond the current limit of one month. A longer duration would offer creators more stability and motivation to invest in their content, ultimately contributing to the overall growth and engagement on the platform.
Thank you for considering these suggestions. I believe that these adjustments would be mutually beneficial for both creators and the TikTok community as a whole.
Sincerely,
Cristiano Bartel
I’m interested in the part where monetization lasts a little over 30 days (maybe 60) because the best effects always go globally viral after about a month… Example: My LEGO AI Filter started to get more exposure after a month.

I think this has been said time and time again, but i too would like to see the threshold of 5k lowered and I’ve always said that the number of days should start when you reach that criteria. currently its quite hard to get to the 5k within the 30 days and this does make you question how much time to spend creating them.

Totally agree with the suggestion to extend the monetization period. 30 days is really short to hit 5,000 VALID videos. It’s not impossible, but it’s definitely tough, especially for smaller accounts. Sure, we could try collaborating with TikTok influencers to boost visibility, but their fees are pretty high. And honestly, the reward from a qualified effect won’t be enough to cover that kind of cost.
Plus, a lot of times our filters only start to gain real traction after they’ve been live for more than a month. So having a longer monetization window would really help give those effects the time they need to perform naturally.
