Here are my VFX feature requests:

Pre-Warm particles so when the effect starts slow moving particles can be already on the screen.

In the 3D Scene, to be able to see the area and shape of where the particles are being emitted (box/torus/circle). It doesn’t have to show the particles, just the emitter’s placement/shape.
In the screenshot above, I added an example of the emitter shape with a Position: Box node
