Non texture over time values

Can we use float values to drive e.g. alpha over time, making a gradient texture is too tedious and hard to adjust

You can use an age over lifetime node and a set alpha node to linearly affect the alpha over lifetime, but I am assuming you want more control than that would provide.

What kind of interface are you looking for? Something like a curve editor?

I agree that the gradient method is tedious.

Thanks Frank! Yes I think something like a curve editor would be most visual with some common presets like sin in, sin in/out, exponential etc
