Pan screen node "Stay" output?

Maybe I’m overthinking this. But I can’t figure out how to ‘set visible’ while you are dragging your finger on the screen, but immediately ‘set INvisible’ when the user releases.

Having a ‘Stay’ output on the ‘Screen Pan’ node would be cool.

Hi @Brett,

I might have found a solution to your problem.

Agreed with Baruch. You create a Boolean variable. And you set this variable to true at start event and to false at end event. It’s an efficient way to control the state of an object.

Thanks @Baruch and @FRAZAK, I was just about to explore a variable solution like you show, when…
I found a solution with the first node Baruch has in the graph.

Previously, I was looking at the ‘Screen Pan’, ‘Screen Tap’, and ‘Screen hold’ nodes. I found the ‘Finger Touch 1-Point’ node and set up some set visible nodes on the same two outputs you showed in your graph. I used that node in conjunction with the ‘Screen Pan’ (to allow the user to move the texture) and my visual feedback texture toggles.

I can see where manipulating a variable will come in handy too when I need to send wider signals to more objects. Thanks again friends.
