In about six months I created 320 effects and I only won 2 amazon vouchers of 10 euros for winning some effect challenges. At the moment I don’t create filters for tiktok anymore, a lot of work, zero satisfaction. If something changes, I’ll come back. For now I work on snapchat but I continue to follow the evolution of effect house.

Unfortunately, filters that include the games category are rewarded more, so the same creators specializing in games will always win, everything else is secondary. I personally get bored playing mini games, they don’t make sense, I like making fantasy masks with objects created via blender, but among many problems these face effects are not pushed by the algorithm. If fortunately a famous channel with many followers uses my filter then it happens that the effect exceeds 300k posts, otherwise it remains unknown.

Definitely! I can’t understand why they don’t push those amazing works more. I hate seeing stupid 2D PNG effects on trends segment. Some effects literally have only one PNG from the internet and that’s all. And the possibility of these kind of effects monetized makes it far more annoying.

That’s a separate matter, tiktok knows it, but evidently tiktok doesn’t care about anything. The social network cares about quantity in order to pay as little as possible. as far as I’m concerned you shouldn’t even use ready-made 3D objects, but build them with your own hands via Blender or similar.
