I wish there was a way for us to see if a material is currently in use by an object in our scene or not. Maybe like if we had a section/tab after the Render State part in the materials that said, “Currently used by: (object 1), (object 2)” or “Material is not currently In use”. After having have several materials in a project, it can start to get a bit time consuming when trying to delete unused parts and optimize our projects, especially because if you accidently delete a material from your assets, there’s no way to undo/redo and you end up having to re-create the entire material with the correct settings from scratch.
Just a feature that I think could be a nice addition to have!
